Parent Involvement
We advocate the involvement of parents and families in their child's education and relationships between home and school that will enhance your child's education. Family involvement encourages student achievement and other positive attitudes and behaviors that increase success in school.
Getting involved in your child's education can be as simple as reading with your child, listening to your child, and supporting their efforts to learn. We hope you also do the following:
(a) Attend school meetings
(b) Volunteer at FLC
(c) Attend all conferences
(d) Read all newsletters sent home
(e) Check the district and school website

We Are.... A Kindergarten Team!!

To my students and their families,
KINDERGARTEN ASSEMBLE!!
Welcome to your first day of Kindergarten! I am Mrs. Dilworth and I will be your teacher and your guide through this magical learning adventure. This will be my 18th year teaching Kindergarten at FLC! I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Penn State University and a Masters Degree in Teaching from Monmouth University. I have a wonderful husband, who also teaches Kindergarten, and a beautiful daughter Amelia, who is turning ten this September and a handsome son named Michael who is 5 and will be attending Kindergarten as well. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family, watching sports, Marvel movies, reading, spending time with my Goldendoodle Bibbidi, my lab Vader and my rescue kitty Lucy and anything to do with the beach! Kindergarten is where my heart is. I love to teach children and watch them grow. As your child's teacher, I have only a short time, just one year, to make a lasting impression and see that your child becomes a lifelong learner. My goal is to create a learning environment that is safe, friendly and inspiring. During this year, our children will become readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists and good citizens. I refer to our class as a “kindergarten family” and we will learn and grow together. I look forward to working with you and your child. It is going to be a great and magical year! We are a Kindergarten Team!
